Autumn Alexander Scott
Autumn Scott is a junior undergraduate student at the University of Connecticut (UCONN), studying history, and plans to complete a PhD in the field. He has recently completed his fellowship at the UConn Humanities Institute, studying a global and interdisciplinary project: “Trinities in World Mythology: Why Separate Cultures Construct the Same Cosmology.” He plans to focus on successful resistances of indigenous people to expanding colonial empires in world history for their PhD research, themes he explores in Scars of Silent Memory.
During his time at UConn, he has also contributed to museum exhibitions on the Haitian Revolution, constructed an analysis on Haudenosaunee (Iroquois) warfare, and has been selected for the UConn Merit Scholarship, New England Scholar Award, and Babbidge Scholar Award.
He is also president of the HEMA (Historical European Martial Arts) and Karate clubs at UConn, where he has ranked among the top competitors in both kata and sparring from 2023 to 2026.
